Our mission is to serve and support students seeking an intelligent, non-mechanical, ageless practice that emphasizes the rejuvenative and life-enhancing goal of Hatha Yoga. We have experienced for ourselves the value of Yoga in cultivating health and vitality, and aspire to share with those interested in developing strength and flexibility of the body, clarity of the mind, and radiance of the soul.
Hatha Yoga is considered by many to be the classical form of physical practice and serves as the foundation from which most modern styles arise. At it's core, Hatha Yoga is a refined, disciplined, and therapeutic system. From Sanskrit, ha means 'sun', tha means 'moon', and yoga translates as 'unity'. The goal of Hatha Yoga is to balance and unify the opposing energies that animate the body, mind, and soul through self-study, discipline, and practice.
